Submission Guidelines

FusionVision 2026 invites submissions of original research papers and will include oral and poster sessions, a student paper contest, tutorials given by experts in Fusion topics and special sessions.  The symposium aims to provide an experience that prepares you to learn about new research and breakthroughs in Fusion, gain valuable insights, grow your network and get inspired by the brightest minds working in the multi-faceted field.  You can download the Call for Papers here!

All submissions to the FusionVision 2026 conference must be submitted through the Microsoft CMT. 

If you already have an account with Microsoft Conference Management Tool (CMT) enter your email address and password to login.

New users to the CMT must register. Use either the: 
“Registration” link or the
“Create Account” link to register.

You will be prompted through the sign-up wizard to create an account. Once your account has been created you may begin submitting to the conference. 

Deadlines
June 1, 2026: Abstract submission deadline.  An abstract only (minimum of least 250 words / maximum 350 words NOT including figures, tables or graphs) should be submitted by the deadline of June 1, 2026.  

June 30, 2026: Abstract notification of acceptance.  Abstracts will be reviewed and authors notified by June 30, 2026 

Sept 22, 2026: Full paper submission for peer review deadline. If the abstract is accepted, and you would like your paper peer-reviewed for a special issue of IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, the author will submit a full paper by the deadline of Sept 22, 2026.
